Carolyn Hayden-Garner

Carolyn Hayden-Garner, CPP, PLP is an accomplished leader and payroll professional who has successfully managed global payroll operations for some of the world’s most prestigious companies, such as CBRE, Northrop Grumman, and Tesla. Her impressive 30-year career began with a leadership role at the Dallas Independent School District, where she was appointed Executive Director of Payroll. Today, her remarkable achievements have advanced her to become Payroll Director at Tesla, responsible for directing all facets of payroll that span the Americas, 29 countries in Europe, and India. 

In addition to her illustrious career accomplishments, Carolyn is highly admirable for her commitment to enriching her community. She founded the non-profit organization Mothers Shut In, which aims to empower women of diverse backgrounds and leave a legacy for their families. Moreover, she is active on the OHUG board as Treasurer and serves as a board advisor to numerous non-profits. Throughout it all, Carolyn remains dedicated to fulfilling her passion to create meaningful change throughout all aspects of life. As of January 2024, she has been named National Board Trustee for the Boys & Girls Club America.
